A Repurposed Oil Funnel Gear Junk Lamp Only a Tetanus Shot Could Love

I have this thing, where if something is so off the wall, I start giggling. And such was the case with this crazy adaption of a Pottery Barn inspired lamp I liked!
Bits and pieces of rusty junk were welded together, creating quite a one of a kind creation!
The bigger question remains... if PB knocked off my version of their lamp, do you think they'd include a tetanus shot? :)

This is what happens when a junker dares to dream big.
It all started off innocently enough with this PB lamp. Loved the basic lines and wheel aspect. Time to go shopping!
I found this rusty metal stand at a salvaged junk yard. It was perfect for the base to be!
Add a few clothesline wheels and a beat up old oil funnel, and we're off!
Each piece was cut to size, then welded together. Kind of like building blocks. That's a wagon wheel centre in case you were wondering.
The wheels were put to work, holding the electrical cord in place. This is the one time you do not want to hide the cords!
The result is chuckles and laughs all day long... in the very best junker kinda way. :)
