Covering wallpaper with paint
Is there a product that I can use to lightly roll on or spray cover the wallpaper that leaves the PATTERN to show through but Dims the Navy Blue and Pink Tulip colors? Like a clear spray opaque to dim the brightness. Lighter pink tulips would match the wine color in furniture and curtains. Lightening up the navy blue would match spinach color in furniture/drapes. Obviously cover the entire wallpaper with a coat of something, just do not know what to try. Please help with ideas if you could! Thanks!

Stephanie corley on Nov 09, 2016I agree with John. When I was younger, I painted over wallpaper and it showed every flaw on the wallpaper. Strip off the wallpaper (I hate that part) and paint it a very fresh color. You will be happy you did it right!Helpful Reply
