    Thank you for this post, I so love your style. I have recently purchased an old architectural front porch railing and post to use as a decorative element in my home. A friend/contractor told me that it must have been painted with lead based paint. It is very chippy and worn, which I love, but now I am worried. Do you recommend some type of cleaning and sealing before hanging a piece indoors. Thank you for your help, Cynde
