Vintage Christmas Mantle...
by

(IC: blogger)
this mantle has paper roses, pip berries, and pinecones in the greenery. then, I added the “vintage” letters.
lots of us have non-working mantles and I wanted to show how I stapled twinkle lights under a skirt of one of my mantles. super easy project and they give a whimsical flickering fire light at night.

Kristina Woods on Dec 19, 2013Lynn at shabby story I told my sister in law about this. Our local habitat store has one just like this and she wants one for the holidays. I told her she could have this year round. Not sure what she will do but I told her I would help her with it. I love this it make me want to do the same with my black hole. LOL I want burn a fire in mine. I was going to paint it a lite color but this would be cheaper and I think prettier. I love it!!!!!
