Sauve on Jul 15, 2014If you ever have burnt coffee in your pot the easiest way to clean follows: 1. Allow the pot to cool completely. 2. Fill it with ice (you can use cubes). 3. Add some salt, about 5 tablespoons. I clean my coffee maker with vinegar once every two weeks, then rinse it through with plenty of clear water. About 3 pots. I use the used vinegar in the bathtub, shower, and sink drains. Allow the vinegar you used to set in the drains for about 15 minutes and then flush it with water.
