Thrifting a gem!

I am in the process of painting my kitchen cabinets, using an oil paint. Since it has been raining for 3 days I have not been able to paint:( and today I was stir crazy. After getting the fam off to school and work I went to my fav disabled veterans thrift store. I wandered around for a while and as I was leaving I glanced over my shoulder... And there she was. A perfect small kitchen "island". She's a little rough and needs some attention but i will make her mine! The amazing part is the price. $15.00. Can you believe it? A little hefty weighing in at about 80 pounds but sturdy enough for my monkeys to do a dance on her! By the way, I never called any furniture piece a "her" until I started using hometalk!! Have a great Halloween and be safe!

Thank you Jeanette and April! I keep reading about all these wonderful "finds" that other people get and kept wondering "why not me?" But I feel vindicated! All it takes is a little time! Jeanette, you mentioned spice racks on the side? How could I so that?
