Help please. I just moved into a new apartment and I have no idea how I can organize my bedroom. It's too large and I have no bedroom for my little baby.

So both of you will be in the one room? What are it's dimensions and how many pieces of furniture will you have?

Both adults and children require "stuff." Infants seem to explode into any space they occupy. You should consider creating separate zones for you and your child. Well-anchored shelves in the wall of the baby's area could be utilized to store clothing, diapers and other necessities. Another helpful storage item could be a bookcase that uses baskets to hold toys or other things that need to be corralled but not really organized. More like keeping things that are clutter out of view. If you do use a bookcase or chest-of-drawers of any type, make certain to anchor it to a stud in the wall behind. There's always a danger of casement or large pieces of furniture tipping over resulting in harm to the child. A few screws and an angle bracket are cheap insurance against a catastrophe. If you need to segregate your baby from your space for the privacy of both of you, look around for a 3-panel folding standing screen. Or make one using PVC and cover with sweet cheerful infant-appropriate fabric. A screen will allow the child to nap or sleep without distractions from the rest off activity in the room. it will give you the seclusion you need as an adult, too. Give some thought to where the windows are in the room. It might be a good idea to create the baby's space near a window but not right beside. Noise, drafts and sunlight will all filter to the space. As Leanne above said, you haven't given the dimensions of your room, nor any idea of how much furniture is involved. When it comes to furniture, this might be a case where you'll have to give new uses to some of the pieces or store some of your belongings in another room or closet. Think outside the box. My thoughts just came off the top of my head and are borne from the experience of raising 8 children.

Put a portable divider in big bedroom or screen as long as Landlord/lady approves.
