How do you remove and replace the small cushions on the bottom of the toilet seats that become squashed from use?

They are typically part of the seat and cannot be replaced

Go to Home Depot or Lowes and they should have the replacement. Most are only held in with very small nails. However, if they are solid plastic, they might be integrated into the seat.
