that is a beautiful piece , clean and wax the top, then place a large to medium size black platter or charger in the center with some thing to catch the eye.
Love the table. You could paint the legs black and have a mirror cut to fit the top. And remember, there are many colors of black and a choice of paint finishes...satin, flat, gloss, etc. When you decide what to do and finish it, maybe you could post it on Hometalk. Would love to see it. Have fun!
