I would try a Magic Eraser as long as the pan is not Teflon coated.

baking soda and vinegar/ let it sit. apply some elbow grease. if that doesn't work you can heat it on the stove and wipe it out

Boil some water and baking soda first to loosen the stuck on stuff then put tomato paste in it for a day or two (Low heat then allow to cool) that should remove the burnt marks on the bottom.

I made a paste from baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for a few minutes. My pots and pans are stainless steel and have been used on gas and electric coil and when I got my new flat top I went searching for ways to make them like new again; found a post for peroxide cleaning hacks on hometalk and it worked great. I mostly used a scrubbing sponge but one pot has a ding from flying off a vehicle at 75mph (not a bad one thankfully, funny story though!) and to get that I used a brush.

Add enough water to cover the burn by about 2-3 inches so it won't boil dry, less if you are watching it closely. Add 2 TBSP Dawn and 2 tsp baking soda. Bring everything to a hard boil then reduce to a simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes. Check the burn debris occasionally to see if it starting to come loose. If not, make sure you have enough water and add more Dawn a little bit at time testing the burn debris before adding anything else. This shouldn't take long at all. I have on had to add extra Dawn once and that was a massive Italian dish that lost it's mind while baking.

This happened to me a few weeks ago - I forgot about some apples I was cooking down for applesauce. Found a suggestion to put a teaspoon of cream of tartar in the pan, fill it with water, put the pan on the stove and let it simmer for a while. The burned apple floated right off! A pan that I thought I was going to have to toss is perfect again, and I had to do very little scrubbing to get it that way.

I agree with harleyangel2405. Warm the surface first then make a paste of the 2 and let it sit. I used a coppeer scrubbing pad on a filthy oven abd a scrubbing sponge on a glass top stove and got it all off.

I have never tried it but saw a blog where you lay a new dryer sheet in the bottom of the pan and soak overnight.

I had the same problem. First I put hot water in it and heated it on the stove. This helps to soften is a little. then the paste of baking soda/ hydrogen peroxide and it should come off with one of those copper scrubbers.
