Mikell Paulson on Nov 10, 2013Get under them with a flat pry bar, One that has a 3 -4 inch flat part! Then just keep lifting them! We took out tiles in Idaho and then replaced them with new! Not to hard, but be sure you wear eye wear safety glasses!Helpful Reply

Mikell Paulson on Nov 12, 2013That is backer board. All tile floors should have it! Problem is it is either nailed or screwed every six inches or so. It will be a time consuming job!Helpful Reply
