And another find that needs your help!

This purse frame/handle was in a trunk I got at the flea market Sunday.
Is there a way to tell how old or the type it is? I am stumped by the shiny closure balls. Other than that it looks well worn...
I don't know what to look for. There are no markings anywhere

It appears to be the frame for a small coin purse.

It appears to be a silver frame from an antique silver mesh purse. Probably early 1900 and most likely made in Germany. I use to collect them and antique clothing.
