You can use Three M Command hooks for outdoor to hang a swag,wreath etc.

I use a command hook, but use it a bit differently. I don't like the look of a hook on my front door, so I put it upside down on the inside of the door. Then I hang a ribbon, twin or cording from the hook, over the top of the door and down to the wreath. It's hard to explain so I'll attach a picture. It works perfectly to hang all sorts of wreaths on the door - as long as the twine or ribbon is thin enough to not stop the door from closing.

I have a metal door and use a wreath hanger all year round, for different wreaths for each season. I even have an American flag that hangs on my door.
