Making a wreath for your home doesn't have to be hard. Just a few simple supplies and guess what, this project is great for kids too!
You'll need: Wreath form - mine came from Dollar Tree Tinsel garland - mine came from Dollar Tree Magnet - mine was a magnetic calendar I had gotten from Dollar Tree, but you could use any old magnets you have received in the mail, etc. Glue Permanent marker and orange construction paper. Gauze (optional) - mine came from Dollar Tree
Since the wreath was green, I wrapped it in gauze in case it poked through the tinsel. I found I wouldn't have necessarily needed this step as the tinsel did sufficient coverage. I secured the gauze with some hot glue but you could use any glue you want.
Next wrap the tinsel around the wreath and secure with glue.
You could stop here if you want or go on to make the snowman...
Using your magnet sheet & marker, make your snowman face.
I set the wreath on top of the sheet when deciding how big to make the nose and mouth. Cut the face out.
I tried an orange permanent marker to color in, but as you can see it wasn't solid enough so I cut orange construction paper and glued it on top. You could use a button here and glue it on a magnet as well. If you want, make several faces out of the magnet so it can be changed up and fun for kids.
Next hang it on a door, refrigerator, or anything with metal on it. My wreath is hanging on a magnetic hook. This is a super easy project, and it's a great one for kids! Happy Holidays!

It looks as if the snowman is wearing a parka trimmed with fur around the hood. Delightful!
