Rustic Snowflake From Reclaimed Wood

You are going to fall in love with these snowflakes made out of pallet wood! With a pallet and a few cuts you will have an amazing snowflake for you winter decor!
Start with 10 pallet boards. The length of these boards will be the approximate diameter of the finished snowflake. (A)
Set your Mitre Saw at a 45 degree angle.
Cut 4 of the boards in half at the 45 degree angle. (B)
Cut 4 more boards in half with a straight cut and then in half again at the 45 degree angle. (C)
Use a Nail Gun to nail 2 of the long boards (A) together in a cross as shown in the photo above.
Then take the (B) boards and begin attaching them to the sides as shown above.
You will attach a total of 4 (B) boards to both sides of of the cross shape.
Now you will use the (C) boards and attach them to the end of all the pallet boards connecting as shown in the above photo.
You can finish it off with a diamond shape in the middle of the snowflake but cutting a board at 45 degrees all the way around.
Look how amazing they look on top of this fireplace mantle!
