Ruth on Nov 13, 2013We used bondera on our kitchen backsplash. Used 6"tiles and mosaic tiles. It went up so easy and we grouted the same day. Since there is mesh on back of penny tile it should work. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Carmen Brooks on Nov 13, 2013Hi again! This photo is what I'm trying to achieve. I have a heap of regular pennies, and I want to make a backsplash. As pennies are copper, I'm not sure bondera is an ideal material or not - I'm hoping there's someone out there who has an idea. I tried making mesh sheets of pennies, but the glue was too brittle and the pennies popped free! MY other idea is to cover a board and hang it on the wall (I'm leaning more toward this option, thanks Nancy!)Helpful Reply

Tegma on Nov 13, 2013I'm wondering if the "all in one" tile grout/adhesive you find at Lowes would work. I've used that on many tile projects (walls only) with great success. Do let us know what works.... I'd like to put penny tile behind my stove area.Helpful Reply

Bondera on Nov 18, 2013Yes, Bondera TileMatSet worksgreat for any type of backsplash as long as you don’t use anything larger than a 6x6 tile on a vertical surface. First, position the tile adhesive on the wall, then set the coins on a steady surface. Here’s a similar project made by Amanda - http://godisgoodgodisgreat.blogspot.ro/2013/11/amandas-do-it-yourself-penny-backsplash.html. Also, you can visit Bondera’s website - http://www.bonderatilematset.com/ and the Facebook page for more home improvement and interior design tips - https://www.facebook.com/BonderaTileMatSet.Helpful Reply

Carmen Brooks on Nov 18, 2013Hello Bondera. I think part of your message is left out. You wrote "Bondera TileMatSet works great for any type of backplash as long as the penny backsplash".......What? As long as what? I need to know as long as what!Helpful Reply

Marsha Scott on Nov 20, 2013Help answer this question...Carmen Brooks-Click on the three dots at the end of the statement and you see the rest of the sentence and a link to their website. I think that is the same for many websites that limit the length of a post. Cheers!Helpful Reply
