Installing a DIY Laundry Shelf Over Your Washer/Dryer

The tops of my front load washer and dryer gave some space for folding that never ending pile of laundry--but not enough. So I built this easy shelf to provide plenty of folding and sorting space in our laundry room. It made life SO much easier!

    I would love to have a shelf like that but I don't have a front loading washing machine any longer. I found it was too hard on my back and went back to a top loader. Any suggestions for organizing with it?
