How to Paint & Distress Furniture With Milk Paint
There's a new paint out - it's called chalk paint. Paint it on then use sandpaper to rough up edges and sides where things'd normally get worn or scratched and it would look old. It's amazing. research it out on Google :o)
Using an antiquing glaze over the paint can give the effect you are looking for.
Please post a picture so we can see, but chalk paint is a great paint for an antique look.
