I now use it on all more 'tiny cords' that tend to break where they bend/plug in.... really has extended the life of all my computers, charger, and plug-in cords!
There is also a step by step guide to making "Sugru" yourself at the Instructables site. You can read anything they have for free, but to print out you have to pay for the membership. A superb site from DIY's and experts the world round on almost any subject you can imagine. This stuff will solve the Apple cord problems coming for everyone too, LOL.
I used it to repair a cord, to fix a washing machine door and to hang up some items without drilling.
I use it to "steady" things, pictures on the wall, knick knacks, etc., as I live in earthquake country. Also have a bunch of pets, so trying to keep things as safe as possible for them.
yes I have used sugru for making Hooks to hang my Saucepan lids on and To Repair my usb cord but if you check out their site you will find hundreds of Hacks on ways to use it I love it.
I used the blue sugru to repair a break in the cover for my kitchen trash can which matches the cabinets and could not be replaced. Has worked for the 2 years 😀
I used it to repair a phone charging cord, and I used it to attempt to patch my recycle bin. I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the product -- the company site builds it up to be the answer to every problem, but it's not that great of a product. I don't like the way it stains your hands and is sticky - I guess I thought it would be smoother and more silicone like.
