Metallic Ribbon-Wrapped Holiday Letters
A fun addition to my holiday decorations are these inexpensive 12" cardboard letters wrapped in metallic ribbon. These festive phrases hanging in our windows are bright, colorful, sparkly, and absolutely stunning to admire all throughout the day as the light moves through the house and catches them!
To get this look simply cut strands of ribbon in various lengths and colors. Tape one end of ribbon to the back of the letter, wrap it around the front wherever you like, and secure other end to the back with tape. Repeat!
I used a staple gun to staple a long strand of beads to the back of the letters to hang them in the window. I love how they catch the light and show off all throughout the day.
I decked out the three windows in our great room with the festive phrases "MERRY," "HAPPY" and "CHEER." (Visit post to see "CHEER.") Who couldn't use a little Merry, Happy, Cheer this holiday season?
