Is there a way to convert a traditional fireplace into an electrical one? Will be much easier to keep it clean.

HOme Depot and Lowes sells them. they have heat or no heat. I bought a fake one with no heat on clearance for $12. You have to hide the cord but it sure beats sweeping up ashes!

  @Sunush the fake electric fireplaces usually just sit right in there. You have to see if they come with their own grate for the fake logs to sit on. The cord is the problem for me with a brick fireplace but I run it behind the stuff and in the pic I still have not tucked it away but you get the idea. I am also going to have the fireplace grate legs cut off about 2" too so it sits lower.

I just saw a fireplace like that in homne depot. Have to find out if they sell the inserts online as the store didn't carry it.

  @Sunush check online for sure. There are many different varieties I have seen at Home Depot. Even with heat. good luck. I think Lowe's has them too but right now they are expensive unless you find it like I did from last years stock and set out on clearance. Or if you are in no hurry wait for after january when winter stuff goes on sale and clearance.
