You need to leave it at least 5 days. Then you strain it into a spray bottle and use it to clean up. I use it to clean my laminate floors after my favorite pet pees or throws up.
Did the same, went on vacation and forgot what it was when I discovered it in the back of the refrigerator. Memory came back and it does make a nice cleaner with a fresh smell.
