Using a vintage flannel blanket as the tablecloth, I was inspired to create a country holiday feel.

You don't need to match things up. In fact, keeping a fun eclectic mis-matched vibe only adds to the fun.
Replacing the idea of a table cloth for place mats and using a few different pieces gave the table more of an upscale urban feel.
A simple cloth place mat can be a lot easier to handle and also easier to clean and store.

Keep things easy and simple. The main focus will always be the food and the company, so don't over think it! Have fun with the decor and the mood. Candles are always a plus.
