We’re excited to bring you a Holiday DIY as versatile as it is charming! Once the holidays are over, you can use the conversation piece again and again for gatherings large and small! Let’s see how she did it.

Next, prepare a frosting bag with ShimmerStone. Debbie kept it the original color but you could tint the ShimmerStone to taste using any of the color concentrates designed for use with Shimmerstone.
Use the frosting bag to create texture for the birch bark and don’t forget to add snowflakes and stars! Have your inspiration image handy to guide your artwork as you go along, if needed.

My favorite trees! What a super creative idea! So inspired. I hope to try this. Now, to find a way to add a chickadee here or there on the branches. Thank you so much. You must be an artist ❤️

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Where do you buy the shimmering stone paint?
Are these washable? This is so cute and creative!!!
This is very classy!
Quick question, though, as I've done etching, alcohol inks, acrylics... What sealant are you using that is safe for drinking from?
I've had to make sure there is at least 1/2"-1 1/4" "lip" space at the rim of my glasses due to not finding a food safe sealant.
Suggestions?
