How do I clean hot glue off of my window boarders?

I put up Christmas lights last year with a hot glue gun around all my plastic window boarders. I have tried many things to get the "left-over" glue off. Does anybody with other ideas. ( it has to be quick and easy,I have around 1500 "spots" to take off.)

can't scratch the plastic. have tried , turpentine , TSP, rubbing alcohol , reheated glue.......kerocine, its getting interesting........
Any chemical you use it the hot glue will affect the vinyl window frame. I would use a razor scraper. A very low angle will pop the hot glue off and limit any damage to the frame.
