Shari on Nov 17, 2013Have you tried the Mr. Clean Magic Sponges? It might take some scrubbing and several sponges but it should work. I got bad rust stains and grunge out of a bathtub with them. They truly are magic. They clean everything. I've actually been successful at removing black permanent marker with them.Helpful Reply

Sheri Stone on Nov 18, 2013Try cleaning it with Bar Keepers Friend. It is a powdery cleaner sort if like comet. It is also a rust remover. Great product!Helpful Reply

Denise Weick on Nov 18, 2013Mix 1 cup of Heated ( I use the microwave oven) White vinegar and 1 cup of Dawn Dish soap. you can splash it in the tub or pour into a spray bottle& mist. let it sit about 10 minutes and you WILL see a huge difference, a little scrubbing may be required, but once you have it clean just spray once a week & let sit and rinse with running water, problem gone! : )Helpful Reply

LeeAnn Gerleman on Jun 29, 2015I had a coffeemaker that sat in the same spot for a long time. And I moved it and found that the metal on the bottom and water had rusted a giant stain on the counter. I scrubbed with everything and nothing touched it. I finally heard that I should use Bar Keepers friend scrubbing cleanser. I put it damp on the stain and left it sit there for a fewminutes, then I used a Dobie pad and scrubbed it a bit and it came right off. I am amazed that it didn't mess up the counter, but it got all of that rust and stain off.Helpful Reply
