Ooo, good question! I am going to finally tackle the plain wood cabinets in our kitchen to brighten up the place. I keep avoiding it because it feels like a big job, but like everything, I know that all I have to do is get started :)
I'm going to finally build my end table!! I've had a pallet waiting for months to be repurposed into a small end table and the time is now!
Not so D-I-Yish, but I really wanna repaint my house. Add some decals in the bathroom, pain some cool detailed walls. Thats what I hope to accomplish in the upcoming year :)
Turn into roofer, as it needs to be renewed (ciment with tiles & leaks!), start all the restoring of the old stone house, so: boiler, ventilation, isolation, walls where we want, electrics, plumbing... & deco...
Last week I fixed the leaky toilet that my wife has been reminding me about for 2 months, so I'm pretty much ahead of the game for 2017. Guess I'll start thinking about 2018.
I am going to strip and paint my kitchen cabinets a medium gray and the walls a lighter gray to update my 30-year old dated kitchen.
Lets see! Finish remodeling my half bath, Remodel my full bath (had the supplies for two + years) =:) Remodel my kitchen. Install vinyl siding. Update my electrical panel. WHAT YEAR WERE WE TALKING ABOUT =:) =:) ?!
Number one is getting new countertops installed and remove the mantel, brick & raised hearth on my fireplace. My husband has promised we would do them after the first of the year and I am holding him to it. Once the fireplace is done, we need to get some wood floors installed. Our allergies are too big a problem to continue with wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms.
I've got nothing as I gave it up for lent!
Get off the computer so I can get to making a quilt, knit a few things, organize my other DIY supplies. Use up or give away some of the beads I've collected.
Sell my house and start all over again in a new one with all your ideas !
Reevaluate my stash of junk, get rid of things I'll never complete and pick 2 decorating projects to finish in full before the end of summer.
I would like to paint my bathroom, do a fire pit, plant vegetable garden.
I think I am going to finally put up curtains and install a surround sound speaker system
I resolve to scan Hometalk and other sites and make all my next year's Christmas presents. The older I get, the less store bought stuff interests me and my family members. So, I want to put a whole years effort into making some quality, meaningful gifts. (I am not really artistic or creative so this is going to be a HUGE, scary undertaking for me!!!)
Make new curtains, and there's a number of spots in the house that need a touch up of paint from a few different accidents.
I'm also seriously thinking about stenciling the floor in my kitchen.
Have 3/4 of my Christmas presents made by May AND the BIG one... my craft organized!!!
Ooh - I love this question. I want to declutter - give away all the stuff I don't use.
I will stop building small and tiny possum sheds in my yard.
I will stop feeding them.
They have become exhausting nuisances for me and my entire family.
Use all my scrap wood to finally make something useful and beautiful!
Paint my living room and refinish my wood floors. Then I'm going to sell my house in cold Colorado and move to a beach house in Roatan, Honduras.
My goal is to do a few things to my house, look for a bigger house to renovate in a cooler climate, start renovation on the new one and eventually move. The immediate goal is to enjoy life more.
