How do you remove paint off of old window pane?
-
Beth Bleas on Nov 20, 2013Take a straight razor blade. And keeping the edge straight across gently scrape the paint off. The glass can sometimes be scratched if a sharp corner digs into it....so keep it flat. This is one of those projects that does not require strength! There are also tools that hold the blade making it a bit safer to use. If the paint is up against a wood or puttied portion of the window, gently score that spot first, and you will get a nice straight look when the paint comes off! ...Wear eye protection...please!Helpful Reply
