New Coffee Sign From an Old Cabinet Door

2 Hours
Medium
I found an old cabinet door on the side of the road during one of my treasure hunts and with a little inspiration from Karen - The Graphics Fairy turned it into a new sign for my kitchen.
Originally "pickled oak", this cabinet door sat neglected in my garage all summer until I came across this awesome graphic.
A coat of ASCP in Graphite gives it a "chalkboard" look. Using sewing carbon paper in yellow, I traced the lettering and then filled it in with a white paint pen.
Adding a vintage coat hook to the top corner (where the original knob would have gone) give the sign some flexibility to hang items such as an apron, oven mitts…...
….or at this time of year, some Christmas greenery.
