It really depends on the plant. Some very likely will.
Can you tell us what plant they are?
Or post a picture if you don't know the names
That will depend on your hardiness zone.
If they're in the ground already - wouldn't hurt to give them a relatively thick apron of landscaping mulch around them.
Then adorn the mulch with a decent piling of leaves you didn't rake up this fall.
Kinda like insulation. Obviously - no guarantees.
Good luck !
I am in zone 7
What did you plant?
i HAD ABOUT 75 PLANTS AND TREES. Hosta, nandia, butterfly bush, gerenium, and others that I cant remember. I am replacing all the grass in my front yard with mulch paths and lots of plants.
I would give a really good layer of mulch around the bases of the plants and up to 6 inches thick around the main stems. Really rather late to have put them in the ground in your location. Once it gets to above 50-55 in the spring pull the mulch away. I am assuming that you gave them a good watering at the time you planted them. At that point if there is a frost you need to get up early about 6 am before the suns rays start hitting the plants and spray them down. The sun hitting the frost on the plant is what does the damage. Some of the names that you provided are not perennials or are not winter hardy dependent on location. Beyond that say a few prayers and I wish you luck with all your new babies
thank you. I carts of flowers from Lowes for 5 dollars that had many plants on them plus some were 70 % off. I have a bad back and knee so i could only plant several @ a time.
