I keep my threads colour coordinated in zip bags. To stop threads unravelling use hair scrunches or hair ties or clips, dear pl ending on size of spools. Tip is to take a golf tee and use to keep a bobbin and same colour spool together, put bobbin on tee then push through hole in spool, you could trap in thread while doing this.
I have a bag of small rubber bands, works for any size spool - even bobbins, easy on/off.
