Hi, I can't see the picture. It looks really tiny. I think you maybe copy and pasted a picture into your comment box which for some reason makes it show up tiny. If you save the picture to your computer and then click the camera looking button you can upload the picture and we can all see it in a good size, and help you out.
Montauk daisies need to be cut back after they emerge next season and almost fully upright,cut down in half. That will produce more flowers and fuller bushes.You can also separate them after they emerge in the spring.
better, I think to let them go thru winter, maybe tie them up, them cut back hard in the Spring. Stick cuttings in soil and you will have multiple daisy plant before long.
Generally if a plant flowers in the Spring, cut back in Fall; if the plant blooms in the Fall, cut back in Spring...that way you don't cut the developing buds...PatB
