Dresser Makeover Using Reclaimed Wood and Plaid Fabric

A friend was going to throw this dresser to the dump, so she offered it to me instead. It was pretty ugly but it was in good shape and it would have been a shame if it was thrown out. I was originally going to cover it in Asian fabric, but as you will see I went in a totally different direction.
I wanted to use some reclaimed wood and thought that plaid fabric would go well with it. I had to choose between the red Elmer Fudd plaid, and the gray plaid. I decided to use the gray but I still think it would have looked great with the red. I used pine on the sides to cover up the ugly melamine panel and painted and antiqued them to go with the reclaimed wood.
