Ornaments From the Garden: Mini Gourds
I began making ornaments for family and friends the first year I was married. That is a tradition I love and have continued for over 30 years. These are made from mini gourds. They were so much fun to make! Home
I didn't grow the gourds, I purchased them on ebay.
I used a wood burning tool to burn holes (so that this could be a birdhouse ornament), and added wire hangers.
Here's a finished bird house ornament. I added designs with the wood burning tool.
Here's a mushroom ornament!

I absolutely love these! I used to make ornaments and sold them in a Christmas consignment shop. I wish I had known about these back then! They are really cute and clever. Good job!
