We havea "mechanical room" that sits under our side porch that is used forstorage and it is also where our main breaker panel, the command center for oursecurity system, and now, it houses the power pack for our landscape lighting. Here are a few of the images from that project.
I'd like thank HomeTalk Pro Gary @LandlightS who spoke up and pointed out a big flaw in my installation. I have since heeded his advice, updated my outlet install as well as my related post.
Thanks. ~jb

Prep: Metal boxes grounded with a Ground Wire.
Prep: Installing EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing) termination fitting with a lock-nut. Slotted screwdriver works great in this case for tightening it down
Using a torpedo level, I marked for, drilled and installed a second screw into the handy box. At this point I also strapped the EMT's vertical run to the wall.
I ran a branch wire in EMT along the ceiling from a keyless light location also in the room.
You can use a hack saw, angle grinder with a cut-off blade or even a chop saw, but I cut EMT with a standard tubing cutter.
With flush mounted boxes (similar to old work boxes), it is necessary to remove the receptacle’s “ears”.
For added insurance in a metal box, I wrapped the terminals with electrical tape.
A New Outlet.
