Hi Melody! Are you interested in learning more about how to find shows? Or you want guidance on making the actual products? As far as crafts goes -- what types of crafts do you enjoy? I'll do some brainstorming for you.
Also, totally not a computer thing -- this book is VERY helpful if you're trying to break into the handmade marketplace: https://www.amazon.com/Handmade-Marketplace-2nd-Locally-Globally/dp/161212335X
I have done lots of crafts shows in the past. You find the shows you want to do, figure out what you want to sell, complete the application to be a vendor and payment to participate (many of the require detailed photos of what you selling), start making your items, put price tags on, get a 6 ft. plastic table, table cloth, 10 x 10 tent is nice too, make up business cards to hand out, bags are nice too. Set up your space like small store, make it welcoming for people to come and purchase. Will you accept just cash or checks and credit cards? Get lots of small bills to make change, you will be there all day - so bring a chair, food, water, etc., take a friend to help out, be sure to pay attention to set up and take down times for vendors (they are very strict about this). This takes months of planning - so get to work and have a great time!
Thanks Cori! I really enjoy pretty much any type of crafts from a flip to its my own design project. I don't have the tools to do a lot of wood cutting, I do have a wood burner set, I love to build simple things like shelves and such. I have tons of pins saved for ideas!!! I don't know Cori sometimes I think I'm just a crazy old lady that don't know what to do with her self any more. Thank you for being so sweet and heart warming in friendship.
