I made these burlap & Twine Snowmen in a weekend. The project can be very inexpensive if you use what you have on hand for embellishments. They're fun to make and will last for years.

Not a lot of materials needed for these guys but it will take a little time to assemble them. Styrofoam balls, burlap, twine, buttons, some old fabric ( I cut some of a couple of old shirts). Get creative and use what you already have in your Christmas stash of craft materials.
Follow the instructionsFollow the instructions for the easiest way to wrap burlap around the Styrofoam balls. You'll need a hot glue gun for most of this project.
I made the hats with a toilet paper rolls and some black felt. If you're lucky you may be able to find some small hats to use, but it wasn't very hard to make them.
Buttons and a painted pencil for his face.
Use some small Christmas greenery, or you could use berries, or holly or even cotton to put between the different sections of the body.
Most materials can be found at Michaels and the dollar store, but don't forget to shop your own house for stray buttons and fabrics. You can add a couple of sticks for arms at the very end of your project if you like.
