how lovely. what a nice husband for doing that. its a great idea and looks wonderful right where it is. and it WILL look just as nice once dry..:)
That was so sweet! Great idea and will look wonderful dried. 👍
Great Idea!
I you really like the flowers, just let them dry out.You can keep them.Coat in clear liquid plastic.
Peonies and roses are exceptionally easy to dry! Just hang upside down (heavier blossoms tend to bend the "neck" of the stem) and let dry away from sunshine for a few weeks and the blooms last forever. You then can display in a vase or wreath or whatever you fancy!
Dream husband, I'd say. He has a good eye, skilled hands and it looks like it belongs there.
I love how it came out!
I usually pull off the petals and make sachet for the bathroom
I grow all of my own flowers and have certain ones that l dry to use for arrangements and other projects. I have always used a product called Flower Drying Art. Its a Silica Gel product but you can also use it to dry flowers in the microwave. My flowers always come out almost exactly as they were when they were alive, The nice thing is that you can use it over and over so the cost of the product pays for its self with it being reusable. I bought mine at Michaels, but I'm sure you can find it on Amazon or from the company. It is an Activia product. Thier address is..... Activia Products Inc. P.O. Box 1296 Marshall TX 75670...
