Make a natural, non toxic blue stain for wood by: Pennies - 1 cup vinegar (Either white or apple. Apple produces a little more of a teal color rather than bright blue.) - 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide - 40 ish pennies (this number varies largely on the amount of tint you want to your vinegar.)

Pennies - 1 cup vinegar (Either white or apple. Apple produces a little more of a teal color rather than bright blue.) - cup hydrogen peroxide - 40 ish pennies (this number varies largely on the amount of tint you want to your vinegar.)

cup of vinegar (white) : cup of hydrogen peroxide : 40 or so pennies (or for a rust hue a couple of steel wool pads)... Now follow this fab blog for easy instructions and hints
