Workout Ball Holder - Home Gym Organization

5 Materials
Does your exercise space need some organization?
Workout balls are a great addition to a home gym but they are a challenge to store, often ending up on the floor taking up much needed workout space.

I have the PERFECT SOLUTION for you! This Workout Ball Holder is AWESOME because:
1. It creates more space when you exercise because it gets the balls up and off of the floor.
2. It only costs around $3 to make
3. It only requires one 2x4.
Here is what my home gym space looked like in the beginning.
Here are my first cuts. Keep in mind your measurements will vary based on your size of workout balls.

I created my Workout Ball Holder to store two workout balls of different sizes; 16 inches and 24 inches.
Make a diagonal cut lengthwise from corner to corner.
At the ends I made a 3 degree angled cut, this will make the arm extensions tilt upward preventing the balls from rolling off.
Attach the arm extensions to the support piece.
After the extensions are attached this is what it will look like.
Finally I sanded and stained it, added some L brackets and screwed it into some studs on the wall.
I attached it low enough from the ceiling to allow enough room to remove the balls and low enough for me to be able to reach up and remove them.
Wow what a difference it has made in my workout space!
