Inexpensive Kitchen Cabinet Mouldings

I love simple clean lines and I love getting expensive looks very inexpensively. Those two loves came together in the form of my kitchen cabinet mouldings! I was able to get both the crown and the light mouldings for around $50 in total! We used brick moulding for the 'crown' moulding and plain square edged moulding for the 'light' moulding. We bought both products in the trim & mouldings aisle at our local Home Depot. We used a compound mitre saw for the cuts and attached them with an air nailer. Note, it is impossible (at least in my experience it is) to get the same depth in projection of your trim all the way around due to the very nature of cabinets with all their jut outs and such. Being a perfectionist, that is hard to just flow with but definitely a necessary thing. Maybe professionals still have various depths in their moulding installations as well? I don't know. It turned out beautifully and I couldn't be happier! Check out the details in my blog post. The link is below. I also have posts here and on my blog giving details on painting my cupboards as well as building and installing my wood countertops. Check it out!

Great for anyone who doesn't know how to cut crown molding. Makes the cabinets look modern and high end.
