I am practical - put wheels on the laundry basket.
I can't find the link but hometalk posted one about a cheap round plastic laundry basket someone had glued a pillowcase to the inside and jute rope on the outside . It was lovely and original . Looked like something that you'd find at Pier 1 or Pottery Barn.
Any basket will do. You can put linen inside and nruffle on top. Cover with a lid that fits
I use a tall, narrow garbage basket, punch out a few holes for air circulation..it's only 9" wide x 16" deep x 23" tall, it doesn't take up much floor space and really neat!
