If you're going to paint it all, recycled shutter or picture frames and a bookcase. Be sure to attach the bookcase to the dresser so there are no accidents

Either book shelve or kitchen cabinet from local hardware store that has glass already in them.
so here is an idea. Use a tall bookshelf, take the back off and spray if with mirror spray paint. You have to do this while it is lying flat - drips are a no no. If you want you can paint the shelves and sides with chalk paint. when dry put it back together. Measure from the top of the second last shelf to the floor. Then measure side to side. Divide the width by two. Use this measurement to have a big box store cut you two doors. Paint to match. Attach with 2 hinges on each side. And there you have it! a buffet hutch combo. Make sure you attach this to the wall with 1 and 1/2 inch L brackets. They are small and you won't really notice them - most important your lovely dishes will not end up on the floor.
Good luck
