Nice to formally meet you Cindy!
Hi Cindy! You have such a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing with the Hometalk Community!!
Welcome to 2017, Cindy et al!!!! I remember seeing the extra storage "barn" being built-I could sure use one of those (or 2...). You are also very lucky to have some muscle to help out, I am truly a DIYer, all by myself-makes the picture taking a little tricky ! Nice to meet you and your family!
Welcome to Hometalk, Cindy! You have a lovely family and it sounds like they keep you busy, along with your DIY projects. I look forward to seeing more of what you do.
I live near Montreal, Quebec in Canada and also mom of grown-up kids. The three were just here, with their partners, for the holidays and I just loved all the loud bustle, laughs and fun times we had with them. The two youngest, 22 and 25, live at home still, as they go to university in Montreal. With a bit more time to myself coming up, I hope to get back to some of my DIY projects and share with you all here at HT. We have a cottage in Nova Scotia, a 13 hour drive from here, and we will start going back and forth come April. I tend to make a lot of projects for our house there.
Nice to meet you! :)
Welcome to Hometalk Cindy.
Awesome up to date life you shared.
Welcome to Hometalk Cindy from the opposite side of the great state of TN. , Memphis. You have a beautiful family.
Thanks to your husband for his support of our country, and your support of him.
I am in the UK and love this site but would like to contact like minded people to share ideas and form friendships with. My husband too was in the military - The royal Air Force - and is now retired. I used to have lots of penfriends and would love to hear from anyone who is interested in forming a 'Hometalk' friendship group. My email is: lynnemm25@aol.com

Nice job Cindy! So lucky to have met you in person at the Hometalk event in NY and to have made a new friend :) Love all the pictures
Very nice to meet you Cindy, and your great looking family. I live in South Georgia. Love the winters here, but I 'm a KY girl 50+ years and get homesick at times for snow. I have a wonderful fiancé, who like to raise turkeys, chickens, too,(one wants him to walk around the yard, holding her in his arms! She pecks his shoes until she gets what she wants! (I think I have a rival). Anyway, I love giving my ideas to others , but can't do them. Happy decorating and Happy New Year!!
Ditto on the appreciation of freedom from John's service in Navy. My husband was killed while at Fort Knox.
Welcome Cindy,
My father was on a submarine during WWII, both my husband and I were in the Navy stationed mainly in Brunswick, Maine. Thank your husband for his service and for you too.
We currently live in Battle Creek, Michigan been here since 2004. I have many interests, trying to do more repurpose projects. You have a nice looking family and you sure have the skill in creating. I'll have to check out your group on Facebook. I really enjoy meeting new people, have many friends on that website.

Hi Sue - so nice to meet you! I love meeting other Navy families and have great respect for those in the greatest generation, such as your dad. I am following you now on Hometalk - would love for you to join my FB Group - DIY Home Improvement Projects too. Best, Cindy
