Got this second hand sofa,smelly and dirty,but base was sound


stripping and cleaning taking it apart


this is bare unit


fitting,sawing,material for arm rests ,and covers for seats,upholster armrests


cut foam to fit the base of unit


fit the base seat cover


making the cushions and covers/covers is reversible,one side leather other is fabric


fit foam strip around sofa between the base and seat/foam is sewn into material


there you go my new corner sofa is ready


sit back and enjoy,took me 3 days to do it,so next is to make poufe to fit size of corner couch so can make it to bed when those unexpected guests arrive...

    What did you use on top of Springs to enclose them? Love this idea. Wondering If I can do the same as my back cushions are attached in have a couch with 2 sets cushions and a chase cushion. How much fabric di you purchase and did you use old cushions as pattern?
