During the after Christmas sale at Hobby Lobby last year, I bought two snowy garlands for 90% off. They were originally $60. each. They were the last two garlands with the snowy stuff on them. I had looked at them before Christmas, when they were 50% off but that was still too expensive for me. As I shopped, people came up and wanted to know where I got the garlands that were in my shopping cart and were there anymore? I felt so, so, so, much like a WINNER! I scored the pretty garlands! I couldn't wait to use them this year. I planned to drape them around our front entrance. Since I had two, I knew there would be enough. NOT! It barely covered one-half of our entrance. Okay, so I had wished for a matching wreath but there wasn't one last year. I took apart my old wreath, which needed replacing anyway and wrapped the snowy garland around the wire frame and made one big wreath. Yesterday, I'm in Hobby Lobby and there was my wreath look-a-like, made out of the same snowy garland. They must have used two garlands cause it looked the same size as mine. The original cost, $159. but it was 50% off. So $79.50. Mine cost around $12. and I added the burlap ribbon and white "R" which I already had. I love getting Hobby Lobby gift cards for Christmas cause it's so fun to take advantage of their after Christmas sales.
