10 Gift Wrap Tips for You

Hi and Happy Wednesday. Here are 10 Gift Wrapping Tips for you to help you through the holiday season. I wanted to come up with wrapping ideas with things you may have in your home or you can do on a budget.
1. Find a favorite photo, and another small piece of construction paper along with some buttons and or small pom poms and you have a gift that is personal and great for grandma or someone special. This is perfect for Mother's Day too.
2. Chinese take out boxes make great gift wrap for small gifts. I love to use these for my nail gal, teachers, mailman etc.
3. Striped wrapping paper with a band of scrap burlap. Make a snowflake out of some skinny ornaments and tie on with pretty red ribbon. I found the ornaments last year at Big Lots after Christmas.
4. White Box with scrap of paper to make band around center. Get construction paper from your kiddos room to cut leaves and grab some more pom poms from the bag. (The picture is below and a big bag of pom poms was $1 at the Dollar Store). You can use the leaf as a the gift tag too.
5. White Box with brown paper, cut with pinking shears for ribbon. The bow is made with the wrapping paper roll, cut into 1/2″ rings glued in the center and add a pom pom.
6. Striped wrapping paper with a band of scrap burlap. Make a snowflake out of some skinny ornaments and tie on with pretty red ribbon. I found the ornaments last year at Big Lots after Christmas.
7. Use Craft Paper (you can get rolls of this at the .99 Cents or $1 Dollar Store). Add white ribbon and white lace from the sewing box.
8. Chinese take out boxes make great gift wrap for small gifts. I love to use these for my nail gal, teachers, mailman etc. I cut craft paper with pinking shears and added more lace from the sewing box. I tied white ribbon with some lace scraps for the bow.
9. Another Chinese takeout box I wrapped with cellophane and added a lollypop and some wire ribbon and smaller ribbon scraps. You can get the Chinese takeout boxes at Smart & Final for $5 for a ton, and the cellophane at the .99 Cents store.
Here's all our pretty gifts under the tree too!
I love Scotch Expressions tape too and did another post gift wrapping many different ways with this fun tape. Come on over to the blog to check it out.
Another great gift wrap idea is using Pringles Chips cans. They are great for homemade cookies and treats. There is a post about that too. Come on over to the blog. Thanks so much for stopping by, Lisa

Great ideas! One thing I've done is given up on all bows! I now use wired ribbon to make my bows and they look so professional and I get the ribbon anytime I see it on sale. I also use my old Christmas cards for gift tags. I just cut out small pictures or parts of the cards that will work well.
