That is so beautiful, thank you for sharing!
That is one beautiful tree! Here is my current view, with the bonus squirrel, (aka "Big Bitey"), chased up the tree by 2 of the dogs. Lemon, fig and palm. So CA in the rain!
Thank you Cori. It smells good too.
The temp was 12 degrees here in West Texas last night. All our trees, except the live oaks, are bare. I love the look of sun pouring trough the beautiful structure of bare tree limbs. Because we feed them, ours are usually full of birds.
I'll have to wait for Spring to see beautiful blooms, but in the meantime I will enjoy the beauty God has provided.
I love my hong kong orchid trees..but the one that half covers my paver patio drops the flowers everyday and I have to blow them thru the fence and it is a pain....but I wont cut it down..the coolness the leaves give us in the summer is amazing....
Sherrie,
This is a beautiful plant and I would love to have one for our yard. We just moved from Indiana to Florida in October. You are correct things are rather drab this time of year. Can you recommend where I might be able to find this type of a plant and can you advise if it's easy to grow or if it's high maintenance? Thank you, Jeanne
I also live in FL and have that tree. Mine blooms until June. The only problem is when we have a high wind, the blooms are all over my yard. This tree also gives
much needed shade and is very fast growing. I found my tree at a plant grower and it does need pruning.
If anyone has a tree/bush/flower blooming OUTDOORS at this time of year please post it here.
Going to CA tomorrow. Will try to post on my return. I also have pros trim but it's worth the price.
Kitchener,Ontario,Canada. It is snowing BUCKETS right now!All trees are bare except evergreens!
Awww, I'm sorry
I live in Wisconsin and my favorite tree in the winter is a beautiful evergreen blanketed with snow. LOVE IT! My hubby and I were out snowmobiling yesterday and going thru some areas literally smelled like a Yankee candle. So nice, and fresh and clean.
