"Hide the Clip" Ring Top Curtains
But my decision-making had only just begun. I had to choose my hardware.
So, this time around I devised a way to keep those little things hidden. And it worked!
All you need in addition to your normal curtain-making supplies is some grosgrain ribbon.
When you hang the curtains, clip the rings on to the hidden strips of ribbon.

Good thinking out of the box
Looks awesome!! Very clever way to make it look like the rings are sewn to the curtains without actually having to do that!
Beautiful fabric! I would build a wood cornice and install all the way to the ceiling, easy breezy thing to do. Three pieces of plywood attach to walls and ceiling. I would then use crown molding at the top of the cornice and some decorated molding at the bottom just to give it visual interest. Chalk paint and wax. it will bring the eye up to a focal point and visually heighten your ceilings as well as give your bathroom a more grand look. I believe it would show off those fabulous curtains also. I hope this helped your creative juices to flow.
Wishing you the Best!
A way of hiding the rings, would be to put a tension rod in front of the shower curtain rod with a valance on it. Depending on the length of the valance, you might need two. For my own bathroom, I use a swag on each end of the tension rod with a valance in the middle. Works for me.
Amazing! Great share. Saving! And so simple. Your instructions are easy too. Thank you!
I actually use a pre-made lace trimming/sometime small bed valaces work to..place velcro pieces in a few areas, add the connected piece with a doubled sided tape(one that can be removed off the roof without marks if its not your place;if it is,i'd stick them in place.)
You can create different colours & shapes doing this strange idea;but its a goodie,& not really expensive.. Mine was a white lace trimming that i made a blend of three colours up,thus looking marble in tye dye form. I made enough for two lots,//so to change & wash every month or so,but they both look different because of the created patterns with the colour dying... Tip, after hanging them up(close but leave around 3cm away from the ring point), always use a hairspray a couple of times; this b4 your first shower...because as i say with much, it reduces dust holding onto all sorts of materials..(only do this procedure in a dry bathroom..not straight after the last person has had their shower...allow a 5 hour span..this for the project safety/& success)
It really looks beautiful, & as said you can create your own colours/even styles...& amazingly guys can even do this in their own spaces, because curtian rings are just that, curtian rings...even if you got gold ones, unless you tell people they are gold they still are curtian rings...even the most lovely designed(& expensive) are still just curtian rings... with that space..& its ugly/ or just same same.... hope this might make you smile:))
