This was made for the Sterling Davis Pallet wood contest last year. Plus I wanted to make my Wife a Keepsake box
I stripped the pallet and the cut all to size and sandes and shaped to the specs I wanted...
The hinges and clasp are also made from pallet wood and the Celtic knot is 5mm thick plywood and I used my scroll saw for the Celtic knot pattern on the top . it was all then scorched with my blow torch then 3 coats of dark Oak stain then 2 coats of clear Satin varvish...
Enjoyed the project?
